Fashion Show RecapThe Children's Fashion Show and Boutique benefiting the Laura Recovery Center was tremendous fun and in my eyes a success. Families were able to see their little cuties strut their stuff in really great
handmade products. The bloomers from Nicole's Nursery Shop won over the crowd and the emcee from one of the Houston news outlets did a great job when the little ones were reluctant
to go it alone. To read more about the show, tips I learned and pictures please click HERE.

FatCow HostingI am not code literate. I thought HTML was short for Hotmail or some kind of sandwich. I have picked up a few things with
my blog but not enough to create a website from scratch. When I decided to create a website for Nico Designs, I knew that
I would need a host site that was affordable and easy for me to set up. I have that with FatCow.com. Once I looked around
my control panel and understood what most things were for (there are things for tech-savvy folks) I slowly began creating
my site. I took what I created from Photoshop Elements and am well on my way. Although I still have to actually add the products
and shopping cart, I feel that it is all coming together. I highly recommend FatCow--you simply cannot beat their
prices. Check out their site here and take that very affordable plunge for expanding your business.

Super Moist Zucchini MuffinsWho knew being a semi/gradual vegetarian could involve such yummy baked goods? Willing to try almost anything while
I transition to a healthier way of eating, I made these:
1 cup vegetable oil 2 cups sugar 3 large eggs 2 cups shredded zucchini (I just minced mine) 3 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp baking powder 2 tsp baking
soda 1 tsp salt 1 cup chopped walnuts, optional
Directions: 1. Preheat
oven to 350*. Lightly grease 6-cup muffin tins. 2. Beat oil, sugar and eggs on medium high speed for 2-3 minutes.
Add zucchini, flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Reduce speed and mix until just combined. Fold in nuts, if using.
Fill prepared muffin tins about three-quarters full. 3. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and the center
is firm.
I found this scrumptious recipe on VegetarianTimes.
